This section will include information about the people of the otway ranges, including those of history, such as the Aboriginal peoples of the region, explorers, settlers and the communities of today.

Groups and organisations who play key roles in planning and and acting to care for the Otways will also be included. These will include community groups such as landcare, bushcare and coastcare and other environmental groups and networks, and local and state government departments and agencies.
